Here are a few screenshots of Fedora 15 with Gnome 3 to give you a feel of how it looks.

This is what you will see after login. Looks pretty neat, too neat in fact that it is empty. Some don’t like it since the usual desktop has drastically changed. There are no icons by default.

Moving your mouse to the upper left corner or hitting the Windows button on your keyboard will show you the apps and the current windows opened. At this point, I haven’t opened any apps yet that is why there are no windows shown.

Clicking Applications will show the list of apps installed. There is also a search toolbar on the upper right corner, just type the name the app you are looking for and it will filter the apps automatically.
